Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and care homes, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to drive.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of care plans under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Maintain accurate records of patient observations and care provided
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or care homes, but not essential
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.30 per hour
Work Location: In person
