Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to their care plans. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Document client progress and any changes in condition accurately in IT systems. Help with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in both care home and home care settings. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required. A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
