We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible Help in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in health or behaviour Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as required Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all Support with light domestic chores to maintain a clean and comfortable living space

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication Basic IT skills to update care plans and maintain records accurately Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise and build rapport with clients Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
