Home Care Assistant

Full time and part time available

Care Choice North West is looking for caring and reliable people to join our home care team across the Wigan borough. If you want a role where you help others live well at home, this could be a great fit.

About the role

You will be visiting people in their own homes and supporting them with day to day tasks, helping them stay independent. Your duties may include:

Personal care such as washing, dressing and mobility support Meal preparation, medication prompts and general companionship Light household tasks to keep the home safe and comfortable Recording the care provided and following care plans
You will work independently in the community, with full support from the office team.

What we are looking for

Someone caring, patient and dependable Good communication skills Experience in care is helpful, but not required A driving licence and access to a car is preferred, not essential

Shift patterns

Morning and lunchtime calls run from 6.30am to 2.00pm
Afternoon and evening calls run from 3.00pm to 10.00pm
You will work alternate weekends on a fair rota
Regular rest days are built into the rota
