We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Birmingham. - Supporting a 2 year old male client who has Cerebrocostomandibular syndrome and Scoliosis. He has a tracheostomy and requires suctioning. He also has a hearing impairment. You will support the client in his own home. Tasks include but are not limited to: tracheostomy care, personal care, medication administration, nebulisers.

Hours:

DAYS 8am-12pm, NIGHTS 9pm-7am

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

What We're Looking For:



A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
