Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home care and care homes. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patients' quality of life.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide compassionate support. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
