Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, in a Urgent Care Centre setting. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities



Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Follow individual care plans to meet the specific needs of each client. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Skills



Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately. Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients as required. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
