Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of clients. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Monitor and record clients' health status and report any concerns to senior staff Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with light domestic duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Support clients with medication management under supervision where applicable Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting clients in their homes or attending appointments Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
