We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities, fostering a supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their personal hygiene and overall health. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Drive patients to appointments or social activities when required. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care. Document patient progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing team. Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of IT systems for documenting care plans and patient information is advantageous. A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting patients. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. A caring attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the care home or home care service.
