Responsibilities
Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management
Supporting the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
Assisting with domestic tasks including light cleaning and meal preparation
Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any concerns or changes in client condition
Driving clients to appointments or activities when required, ensuring safe transportation
Upholding health and safety standards in accordance with organisational policies
Skills
Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation duties
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
Organised and reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
