Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities. Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care environment. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. have experience with autism, sensory processing needs, Pica, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Experience or familiarity with home care settings is advantageous. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately while providing compassionate support. A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions.
