Responsibilities
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
Support clients with medication prompts or administration, as required
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of mobility aids
Carry out light household duties to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to the appropriate supervisor
Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
Promote clients' dignity, choice, and independence at all times
Requirements
Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant, Care Worker, or similar role (preferred)
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential)
Driving licence and access to a vehicle (advantageous)
