We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care home settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote well-being, and ensure the comfort and safety of clients. Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each client's needs Help with medication administration and monitor health conditions as required Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff Assist with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Requirements

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and care records Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a compassionate manner Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary
