Care Assistant

Our home is part of the local community in Broxburn, and is a friendly, caring and fun environment to work in . We are now looking for a care assistant to work 3/4 shifts per week to provide care and support to our residents

Summary

As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to the residents in our care home. Reporting to the nurse/senior in charge your core responsibilities will include ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are key to being an effective member of our team.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, providing personal care and support. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the care home. Communicate effectively with residents and staff, fostering a supportive atmosphere. Able to deliver all aspects of personal care.
Vocational training courses will be provided and opportunities to undertake a recognised qualification will be available for committed staff members

PVG membership (Disclosure Scotland) essential

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 34.5 - 44 per week

Licence/Certification:
