We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and promoting a positive living environment for our residents

Duties

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively to understand their needs and preferences. Follow care plans meticulously to deliver personalised support tailored to each individual. Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in their condition. Engage in social activities to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. A willingness to undertake further training as necessary to enhance your skills in the role.
