Supporting a female with cerebral palsy who lives at home with her family. She is a wheelchair user and is hoist dependant for transfers, she requires support with all aspects of daily living. We would be looking for a candidate that is tech savvy or has the ability to learn. This lady also loves music, drama,
A candidate who drives, and has a full UK drivers license would be preferred for this position. Great communication and spoken English is required, as you will be liaising with family, case managers, therapists and other professionals as part of your role. Tech aids are also used for communication, so previous knowledge or experience working with an individual who uses these would be beneficial.
Hours:
DAYS Tues, Weds, Thurs & Fri 3-5 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:
Learning to understand the clients' specific needs and abilities, while focusing on her individual strengths & interests.
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.
Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.
Providing respite care where appropriate.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
An applicant is creative and has an interest in Music, Drama, Art and technology.
A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
