Are you looking for a flexible yet rewarding job? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team on our community runs. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a commitment to delivering high-quality care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. You will be expected to travel to Rochdale, Bury, Whitefield, Prestwich and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Provide emotional support, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the service user's conditions. Support with meal preparation and feeding as required. Ensure cleanliness and safety within the care environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

At least 6 months previous experience in care is preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential. Ability to work flexible hours as required
Pay rates include holiday pay and are subject to age and probation period
