Health Care Assistants (HCAs)

to provide exceptional person-centred support in residential and nursing care homes in the Camborne and surrounding area. Your compassion and professionalism will help residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

What You'll Do



Deliver hands-on care, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence support. Assist with safe mobility and transfers, using hoists or other equipment as required. Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to senior staff or nursing teams. Support residents during mealtimes: preparing, serving, and assisting with feeding when necessary. Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful activities to enhance emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that meets infection-control standards. Follow individual care plans and uphold resident confidentiality at all times.

What We're Looking For



Genuine empathy, patience, and a passion for improving quality of life. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Previous experience as an HCA, care assistant, or support worker in a care-home or nursing-home setting is an advantage. Understanding of dementia care and other age-related conditions is beneficial. Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with residents, families, and colleagues. Physically able to assist with lifting or mobility when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 48 per week
