Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The role involves assisting with care plans, communicating effectively, and ensuring the well-being of our service users.
Responsibilities:
- Support service users in their own home care setting with daily activities
- Assist in implementing and updating care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding where necessary
- Help service users with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required
- Maintain accurate records and reports on service user interactions
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
Requirements:
- Proficient in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with service users and colleagues
- Ability to drive for transportation needs within the role
- Experience or willingness to learn about care plans and procedures in a healthcare environment
- Competent in using IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need
