Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in carer who speaks Italian language to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in their home, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the relevant authority. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Utilise IT systems for documentation purposes, including updating patient records and care plans.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a care home or home care environment, is desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. Familiarity with IT systems for managing patient information is advantageous. A valid driving licence is preferred for those required to travel between locations. A caring attitude towards patients and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
