Springfield Care Home

is looking for a

Healthcare Assistant

to join our team in Chorley.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to residents in a residential home. You will perform a variety of tasks related to care and maintenance of the facility and other areas within the facility. The position requires excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with a high volume of patients and the need for excellent communication.

Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent customer service skills. Good problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Health care experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right individuals! We are looking for caring, patient people who are willing to learn and take on new responsibilities. Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for ensuring you complete mandatory training that is provided to you by the management team. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities. Including: personal care needs, continence needs, mobility, nutrition and hydration etc. You will be responsible for promoting independence and maintaining residents physical and emotional well-being. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and reporting any hazrads to the relevant people. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of communication is maintained between all departments within the home to promote continuity of care.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
