Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in Rivelin Care home . This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively with both residents and health care professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to the nursing staff. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during shifts. Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their dignity and independence. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Engage in regular training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 33 per week
