We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties
Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping
Drive clients to appointments or activities when required, ensuring safe transportation
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure high-quality care standards are met
Experience
Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Knowledge of care plans and home care procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be available for all new staff
