Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to service users Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Assist with organising activities and social engagement programmes within their home Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals under your care at all times

Requirements

Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific duties Ability to use IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between different care locations Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required Basic understanding of care plans and the importance of confidentiality and professionalism in healthcare settings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 26,000.00-27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
