We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to follow care plans effectively. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team. Kindness ,compassion, and empathy are essential.
Duties
Full care and support for 35 elderly people some of whom live with a diagnosis of dementia
Providing a stimulating environment, encouraging hobbies and interests
Must be flexible
Requirements
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Proficient IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service.
