We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties
Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support patients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques to ensure safety.
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as directed by healthcare professionals.
Help with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following hygiene protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide updates on patient status.
Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
A caring attitude with a passion for helping others is crucial for success in this role.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the facility.
