Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while promoting their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Develop and maintain care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Utilize IT systems to document care provided and update client records accurately.
Requirements
Proven experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle for client visits.
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
