Role Overview
As a Care Assistant with St Matthews Healthcare, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social needs. This flexible role allows you to work as and when required, offering vital support to our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
Aid in meal preparation and feeding, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote their well-being and social interaction
Monitor and record residents' health and progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
Adhere to care plans and follow instructions from senior care staff or medical professionals.
Ensure confidentiality of resident information and follow all relevant care standards and policies.
Participate in training and development sessions as required.
