We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals for domiciliary care ( door to door). Responsibilities - Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating - Support the implementation of care plans - Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team - Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting - Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings as required Experience Required: - Previous experience in home care or a care home environment - Ability to communicate effectively in English Nice-to-have: - Familiarity with care planning processes - Basic IT skills for record keeping Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those we care for. Responsibilities



Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support patients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times. Communicate effectively with patients to understand their needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health status to the healthcare team. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and follow care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Drive patients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their comfort during transportation. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes within the care setting. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of patient care.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently. A valid driver's licence is an advantage for transporting patients when necessary. Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards those you assist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week

Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime Weekend availability Weekends only
