This role may include working in
residential care, supported living, nursing homes, or community settings
, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Support mobility, including use of hoists and mobility aids
Assist with meals and hydration
Observe, record and report any changes in service users' health or behaviour.
Support residents with social activities and emotional wellbeing
Follow personalised care plans and safeguarding procedures
Maintain confidentiality and accurate care documentation
Work collaboratively with care teams, nurses and family members
Uphold infection control and health & safety standards
Requirements
Essential Requirements
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Good communication and written English skills
Caring, patient and trustworthy attitude
Willingness to undertake a DBS check
Flexibility to work shifts if required (days/nights/weekends)
Desirable (Not Essential)
Previous experience as HCA, Support Worker, Care Assistant
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
Moving & Handling, Medication or First Aid training
