Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, ensuring dietary preferences are respected. Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates on care plans and any changes in health status. Engage with residents through conversation and activities to promote emotional well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement and review care plans effectively. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive to various locations as needed for home care assignments.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with residents and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation are required. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. A caring attitude towards individuals requiring assistance and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
