We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Help with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols. Collaborate closely with nursing staff to report any changes in patient conditions or concerns. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations is advantageous.
