Job Description

The Headlands is a specialist Nursing Home for people with dementia, located in the beautiful town of Llangollen.

We are recruiting Healthcare Care Assistants to join our dedicated and friendly team.

The shift are 12 hours day and/or night shifts, and an hour break is paid. Training and induction, as well as ongoing support, will be provided.

Responsibilities



Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ensure a safe and clean environment in care settings, adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role Ability to develop and implement care plans effectively Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Proficient in IT and comfortable using digital tools for documentation Valid driving license preferred for home care assignments Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to caregiving
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
