Job Description

Nurse Call is a 'care at home', with the addition of registered nursing service located in East Renfrewshire, graded 'excellent' (6's) by the CI. We are a lovely close-knit team of carers, senior carers, team leaders, and registered nurses who are looking for the perfect addition to our team, due to Client expansion.

Nurse Call is currently recruiting for a healthcare assistant with experience in the care industry, with their SVQ2 in Health & Social care, or willing to work towards this, with our help. Previous community experience is a bonus.

Alternatively, we would also welcome applications from senior healthcare assistants who have their SVQ3 in Health & Social care (14.00-28.00 ph)

This post is for 30 hours, 2-3 long shifts per week, working every second weekend on a 4 week rolling rota.

This post will cover our 'Care at Home' Clients.

We cover all aspects of care and have registered nurses to support you always. We offer our Clients appropriately timed visits, so that they, and you never feel rushed. We introduce you gradually, so you feel familiar with care plans/ client wishes and are competent in your role.

A full UK drivers license and use of own car is essential (pool cars also available, if your car runs into trouble)

Successful applicants must be able to obtain 3 references (2 professional, 1 character) and a satisfactory PVG check.

Purpose of role

You will support Nurse Call clients with all aspects of their day to day living, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life. You will sometimes work alone with the client in their own home providing care and support. Compassion, honesty, good time management, good communication skills and a kind and caring manner are essential for all staff within Nurse Call.
