We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. (Full Uk driving Licence Required)
Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviours to the nursing staff.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene standards.
Drive patients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Experience
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting patients.
A compassionate attitude towards caring for others is essential.
