We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in home care settings, ensuring that their daily needs are met with dignity and respect. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans meticulously while fostering a positive environment for our clients.
Duties
Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to service users needs.
Monitor and record service users health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of service users.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Skills
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
Experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial.
Strong IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
