Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and clients Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations Assist with medication administration as instructed by healthcare professionals Support with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation when required Drive or accompany residents to appointments or outings, ensuring their safety at all times

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of residents or clients Knowledge of care plans and the ability to adapt support accordingly is beneficial A caring attitude, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37 per week
