We are looking for a Health Care Assistant that is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to delivering outstanding nursing care to our practice population. Slateford Medical Centre is in Edinburgh, on the outskirts of the city centre, with excellent transport links.
You will work alongside our Practice Nurses to deliver a complete chronic disease service to our patients. the ideal candidate will have previous experience of Phlebotomy, Blood Pressure Monitoring and Urinalysis.
Ideally we are looking for approximately 20 Hours per week (particular days to be worked can be discussed with the successful candidate)
Desirable for this role:
Injectable treatments, and stock ordering experience.

We have 5 Partners, Business Manager, Practice Manager who make up the Management Team, along with 6 salaried GP's working a variety of sessions over the course of the week
I Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses
Friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team committed to providing high quality and patient centred care
In-house services provided e.g. family planning and child health surveillance
Vision and Docman clinical IT systems
GMS practice, with approximately 10,000 patients
We are part of an NHS leased building (opened in 2007) with excellent clinical and admin space with a small outside space which can be utilised over the summer months.
