We are an **AWARD WINNING** family run service, part of Home Instead, the UK\'s leading home care provider. With a minimum 1 hour visits to our clients, we focus on building relationships and supporting older adults to stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

You do not have to have experience in Domiciliary Care, Residential Care, as a Support Worker in Community (although it would be a bonus) as we provide free, industry leading training and support. Working in retail, hospitality, customer service etc. you will be sure to have transferrable skills perfect for Care Assistant. Home Instead values kind heart and caring nature over experience any day.

Responsibilities of Care Assistant:

Support clients in their own homes with various task such as personal care, home help, getting out and about, medication, meal preparation, companionship etc.

Liaise with families and other professionals in order to provide the best quality homecare.

Promote independence and individuality according to each clients Care Plan

Record daily tasks and any incidents on Access to Care Planning App

Work as part of a team, effectively communicating with Office Team as well as other Care Professionals.

Qualifications

A willing, positive, compassionate approach to assist and support people within your local community.

Valid driver\'s licence and access to reliable transport such as car

Be able to make a commitment of a minimum of 10 hours per week including availability on every other weekend

Be living in or around the Wincanton, Somerset area
