Health Care Assistant (evenings Only)
Job Description
Rosebank Care Home is a small friendly and home away from home residential dementia care home. Rosebank strives to ensure that the residents live a full and meaningful life.
We are currently seeking a passionate and caring Health Care Assistant to work evenings only.
As a Health Care Assistant in our home you will assist our residents to live a safe and person centered life. Many of our staff have been here for a number of years and we encourage a family feel to our home.
Duties will include:-
Supporting our residents with their daily activities such as personal care including infection control and prevention.
Supporting at meal times
Providing reassurance, comfort and a friendly ear.
Supporting with duties around the home to maintain the health and safety of the home.
Supporting with the safe moving and positioning of residents that require support.
Working closely with the Senior Care Team to identify issues that may occur and work with action plans and processes to ensure that the Home is compliant and safe.
Experience preferred but would happily consider candidates with not experience as full training and a thorough induction will be delivered.
This role is part time or full time (minimum 3-4 shifts per week) and would include working every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday). Shifts time will be 5-10pm (5 hours - these times are fixed and non negotiable).
Due to our remote village location and limited bus routes, you will need to be able to drive or have access to transport that will work with our shifts times.
