Job Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting others and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities

- Assist in creating and implementing individual care plans

- Support residents with daily activities such as personal care and meals

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

- Drive residents to appointments or outings when required

- Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting

- Maintain a clean and organised living environment within the clients home

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

- Be available during evenings (6pm to 10.00pm) Monday to Friday and every other weekend (Flexibility is required)

- MUST hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle

- Have a genuine passion to want to help others

- Be a reliable and responsive team player with a positive attitude

- Experience in home care or a similar setting is desirable

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient demeanour when dealing with residents

- Willingness to undergo necessary training and development opportunities
