We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and implementing care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Duties

Assist residents and clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that individual needs are met. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Support clients in social activities and encourage their participation in community events. Drive to clients' homes or care facilities as required, ensuring safe transportation. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong English language skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using healthcare software. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
