Role Overview
As a
Community Care Assistant
, you will provide essential personal care and practical support to service users in the comfort of their own homes. You will be responsible for promoting independence and improving the quality of life of those in your care while upholding the core values of Apollo Care.
A
full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
is essential, as you will travel between client homes across the community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with medication prompts, application of topical creams, catheter care, and eye drops.
Prepare light meals and snacks while encouraging service users to participate.
Support with light domestic tasks such as laundry, tidying, and pet care (where applicable).
Handle and document client transactions for small purchases or bill payments.
Maintain clear, accurate records and promptly report changes in client health or environment.
Attend team meetings, mandatory training, and regular supervision sessions.
Wear Apollo Care uniform and badge during all shifts.
Operate confidentially and respectfully in accordance with GDPR and safeguarding standards.

Essential Requirements
Experience in community or domiciliary care (preferred)
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (Required)
