Job Description

We currently have a vacancy at our lovely Nursing Home in Wigmore, Gillingham Kent. This role is for 3 x 12 hour shifts per week (33 hour contract) and will include alternate weekend working. Hours of shift are 7am to 7pm, Salary is age related minimum wage and all breaks are unpaid.

Job Summary

As a Healthcare Assistant, under the guidance of a senior member of staff you will be taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents. Assisting the residents with personal care activities such as personal hygiene and dressing and also assisting with meals, delivering a level of care that comes from the heart. It's about making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in general activities in the home.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and you will need to be able to work 3 x 12 hour shifts each week (33 hour contract).

Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or above
(Experience preferred but for the right candidate we will provide full training and the opportunity to gain qualifications once probation period has been successfully completed)
