Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to individual needs Monitor and record patient conditions accurately, reporting any concerns to senior staff Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a caring environment Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within care environments Support with light domestic tasks in care settings or home environments Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving home visits or transportation of patients Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals
This role requires applicants to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent organisational skills. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism is essential.
