We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Birmingham. :
Supporting a female client who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, scoliosis and Learning difficulties. She also has a severe visual impairment. This client is a wheelchair user and lives at home with family. She requires support with medication administration via gastrostomy, nebulisers, manual handling, personal care and all other aspects of daily living.
Hours:
2:1 DAYS 10am-8pm Monday to Sunday. Every weekend is not essential, but we would be looking for candidates that have flexibility to support over the weekend!

DAYS 10am-6pm, NIGHTS 9pm-7am

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.
Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.
Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.
Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.
What We're Looking For:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.
A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
