Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Norwood House. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents' daily needs and enhancing their quality of life in our residential care setting.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Support residents in maintaining their personal hygiene and comfort. Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences. Help implement care plans tailored to each resident's individual requirements. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff. Foster a positive and engaging environment for residents through social interaction and activities.

Requirements

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Basic understanding of care plans and personal care procedures.
