Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation and feeding. Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each resident receives tailored support. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care needs. Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge. Drive residents to appointments or activities as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is necessary. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to work independently. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting residents when necessary. A caring attitude with a genuine passion for helping others is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the needs of the service.

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
