Responsibilities
Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
Support patients in adhering to their individual care plans
Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
Monitor and record patient conditions and report any concerns to senior staff
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being
Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plans
Support the transportation of patients when necessary, including driving if qualified
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Requirements
Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of patients
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Basic IT skills for recording patient information and updating care plans
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members
Ability to work flexibly within a team environment
