Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in care homes and clients receiving home care services. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of those in your care.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the senior/nursing staff. Support residents with meals, ensuring they receive proper nutrition and hydration. Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with residents and team members.
